Dr. Jorge Ojeda joins the Mexican Taekwondo Team at the Tashkent 2026 World Junior Championships

From April 12 to 17, 2026, Dr. Jorge Luis Ojeda Barrientos participated as sports physician for the Mexican National Taekwondo Team at the World Junior Championships held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, supporting Mexican athletes during this international competition.

Mexico's outstanding results included Guillermo Cortés's gold medal in the −59 kg category and Darah Ponce's silver medal in −44 kg. Cortés's victory marked Mexico's return to the top of the World Junior Championships podium after 16 years.
